Climbing Up A Cheer Tier
I am not the most active person I know, but I can play some sports. Back in school, I played ping pong, badminton, volleyball and I even had some medals from track and field events, such as discus and shot putt. The only sports I hated was netball. I was in an all-girls' school, so we had to play netball at least once during PE. If we could upload sports vids during that time, it would embarrassing to see myself playing netball because I was really bad at it.
When I was in secondary school, I had to replace my team mate for a discus event on our school's sports day. I was totally not ready to compete, but I had to since she was sick and there was no other substitute. There I was, wearing my jeans and throwing the discus like a pure amateur. Didn't expect to win anything, but I got a silver medal for it! From that day onwards, I believe that I can do anything if I put my heart into it.
Here's one of the sports clips I found at SportsVids. There are many online sports videos there, but I think this is interesting. Back in school, we didn't have a cheer leading team. I wish we had one, it would be fun supporting them at cheer camps. Cheerleaders are often stereotyped as pretty airheads but I think that's unfair. It's not easy being a cheerleader and like other sports, cheerleaders need consistent practice. They need to be motivated and have uplifting spirit in order to cheer for the team, and it's not easy to climb up a cheer tier. I think it would be fun to be one. Enjoy the video!
