Hello, My Name Is Mac!

I've been thinking a lot about names lately. No, I already have names for my future babies, mind you! Lol! You see, my superstar blogger buddy, Mariuca is celebrating the 2nd blogaversary for her blog, Wishing on a Falling Star this month. Mariuca, a sweetheart as she is, decided to give out a gorgeous teddy bear, customised by the super-talented artist, Emila.

Isn’t he adorable? I really want to win this super cute teddy, but to win; I must win Mariuca’s heart. Now, to win Mariuca’s heart is not an easy task. Trust me, I know her pretty well. She asked for her teddy to be named, and on top of that, all participants must give their reasons for wanting to win this cute teddy.

I did some research for the past few days and I found the perfect name for Mariuca’s teddy. I want to name it Macario. Pronounced as “mah-KAH-ryo”, I chose it because it starts with an M, just like Mariuca. It is an Italian male name, but it can also be a Spanish or Portuguese name. Now I know Mariuca can speak Italian AND Spanish, so that’s why I chose Macario. Furthermore, Mariuca IS an Italian name! Macario actually means “blessed”. What a beautiful name, don’t you think?

You can call him Mac, for short. Mac is for Big Mac, which is something Mariuca loves. Mac also stands for all things yummy, like macaroni (and cheese) and macaroons! I know how much Mariuca loves food! =) Oh it’s also for Macarena, which is something that Mariuca (and both LadyJava and Emila) can relate to. *winks*

Therefore, it’s final. I’m going to name it Macario aka Mac. I want to win Mac because ever since I knew Mariuca, I have been blessed and Mac is a symbol of a blessing in a form of friendship. Through Mariuca, I got to know LadyJava, who’s my online money-making mentor. Without LadyJava, I wouldn’t be able to earn from home and have my own craft store, Crafty Heart. Friendship with Mariuca has been nothing but beautiful and sincere. Although we’ve never met in real life, knowing Mariuca in the virtual world is more than enough to make me believe that there is such thing as true friendship. Thank you Mariuca, for the opportunity to get to know you, your loving B, your lovely kitties, and all your blogger friends. Winning your heart is not easy, but I hope I touched it, even if it's just for a little bit.

Happy 2nd Blogaversary, dearie, and many more blogaversaries to come!

Lots of love,
