C and I had lunch at the Little Penang Cafe at MidValley Megamall last Sunday. It was our first time! We have walked past the cafe countless of times, but I guess we were not ready to take the risk of trying and getting disappointed.
Anyway, we did and we had Pai Tee or Pie Ti as spelled on the menu. Those were the best Pai Ti I've ever had! Crispy but light, it makes me feel like I could have a dozen more of them! :)
I had Penang Char Kway Teow and C had Assam Laksa because he was craving for something sour. C's meal was okay, he said. I tasted it and it was a tad too sweet for a dish that's supposed to be sour and spicy. My Penang Char Kway Teow was excellent. It lacked the bitter, burnt taste that I was looking for but the huge prawns made up for it! The prawns were very fresh as I could taste the sweetness.

We have planned to have visit Little Penang Cafe again to try out other dishes. I'm dying to try their cendol! So that's for Food Friday this week. Enjoy!
